Description
This course provides information regarding the benefits of using sign language with a variety of special populations in the pediatric outpatient health care system. In addition to learning the research behind the use of ASL in the treatment of multiple disorders, this class will also provide basic signs for communicating wants and needs as well as concepts and language relevant to clients and clinicians in the fields of OT, PT, SLP, ABA and psychology.
